Jessi and Millie were the faces of Australia’s marriage equality YES campaign in 2017, which threw them into the Australian and world-wide public eye. 2 years later, they lived their dream of officially getting married. They developed a large and loyal following quickly and took their audience on their journey of being foster parents and going through IVF to have a baby of their own.
Their followers were heavily invested in their IVF journey where Jessi and Millie share their raw and emotional experiences. They kept their audience informed on the process – learning that many people are unaware of the complexity and difficulties involved when taking the IVF path. They were successful with baby Tide born November 2021 - and they're loving every moment with him.
The couple live an eco-conscious lifestyle completely 'off the grid', but they still go out to enjoy Sydney’s best Northern surfing beaches. Their mantra, inspired by the movie ‘My Octopus Teacher’ is ‘why not go every day’ – the idea of doing something each day that makes you feel good.
With one of the largest LGBT+ accounts in Australia, Jessi and Millie use their voices to advocate and empower individuals to fight for positive change. They encourage their followers to be deep and critical thinkers and be the best version of themselves.
